Bilt Oscar Softens 275 litres at Low hardness and 100 litres at Standard hardness - for up to 1.5 - 3 litre tanks. The Oscar water softener from Bilt is a revolutionary anti-scale system designed for small coffee machines with a built-in water tank reservoir.
Just leave it in the tank and let the Bilt Oscar do the rest. It converts the calcium and magnesium ions passively, into sodium ions - basically removing the harmful mineral buildup which is so damaging to coffee machines.
Oscar bilt cannot be used inside a boiler - only the cold water tank. Oscar bilt cannot be regenerated and should be replaced at least 8-15 months depends on the hardness of water Oscar bilt cannot be used on plumbed machines.
